Tableau Developer

Creates and use the infrastructure, tools, dashboards that the business will use to take strategic decisions. Extract data from different sources, storage it on a central Data warehouse and create reports and dashboards on visual analytics platform as well as support power users to do it. The candidate must possess strong teamwork qualities and compelling experience inSQL Server database, Azure Synapse and Tableau.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights.Support analysts and data scientists with data discovery and rapid assembly of data sets from disparate sources.Engage in ongoing collaboration with data architect, modelers, and other members to achieve common goals.Able to set Tableau Data Policies for Row Level Security and environment management practices.Provide guidance, best practices, and design patterns for analytics solutions. Coach and provide guidance to junior team membersOptimize performance at Dashboard level, tuning extracts, queries, and widgets.Develop and execute unit tests and QA.Able to work under Agile methodology, creating and updating tasks.Timely document all the work done in projects and daily tasks, explain the work done to other members of the teamWorking closely with project managers to ensure delivery is on time as well as on budget.Perform other duties as necessary.

QualificationsAt least 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization.Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering projects with Tableau.At least 2 years of experience with Tableau Admin and Architecture.Expert knowledge on SQL and Dimensional Design
