Position DescriptionYou will be responsible for extending eBrevia’s core intelligent document analysis web application to include additional features needed to serve our current and future markets.
ResponsibilitiesWork independently and as leader of a feature team to design and implement new functionality into eBrevia’s core product, a modern single page web application.Review code from junior engineers for correctness, security, and quality and assist in getting code production-ready.Participate in design discussions with product manager and domain experts and assess feasibility of new products and features.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.3+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc.Proficiency in one or more frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, Next.js, etc.Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker. Fluency in UX and product design from an engineering perspective, and willingness to learn about the legal industry and our customers' needs, able to work directly with product managers and UI/UX designers.Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audience.Architecture and systems experience: must be able to build modules that are scalable, fault tolerant, as well as designing architectures that are intuitive and extensible for other engineers.
Nice To HavesKnowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch).Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS services such as EC2, CloudWatch, S3, etc.Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcasing technical skills.
