Developer Community Intern

Job Overview:As a developer community intern, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and nurturing our developer community. You will engage with developers and RisingWave users, to create a vibrant ecosystem around our RisingWave technology. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community building, content creation, and developer advocacy while working closely with our talented team of data professionals.

Key Responsibilities:Community Engagement:Participate in forums, social media, and other online platforms to engage with the developer community.Help facilitate discussions, answer questions, and provide support to community members.Help organize and participate in virtual events, webinars, and hackathons to promote collaboration within the community.Content Creation:Repurpose existing technical content into easy-to-digest social media posts.Help develop technical content, tutorials, and documentation to assist developers in using RisingWave effectively.Collaborate with the marketing team to create blog posts, videos, and other educational materials that showcase RisingWave functionalities.Developer Champions Program and Swag Production/Distribution:Engage with the community to identify and build relationships with developer champions and early adopters.Help run the developer champions program by collecting success stories, use cases, and product feedback as well asManage the logistics of swag production and distribution.

Qualifications:Pursuing a degree or a recent graduate in CS/coding bootcamp. Or having experience in managing a technical community.Mindset growth, willingness to continuously learn and adapt to the fast-paced environment of an early-stage startup.Passion for data and emerging technologies.Interest in or familiarity with data processing tools, databases, and distributed systems. Familiarity and contribution to GitHub repos is a bonus.Excellent English, both written and verbal. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Enthusiastic about building and nurturing a developer community.
