Web Developer - React

Role: Web Developer (React)Duration: 3-6 Months Contract (Only W2)Location: Remote, USA

We're seeking a web developer to help augment our internal team, responsible for developing and maintaining a Backstage.io web application using React 17 and 18, Jest, Cypress, TypeScript, and YAML. You'll also work with Kafka and Grafana, and collaborate in an Agile Jira-based Scrum team.

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using React 17 and 18.Write unit tests using Jest and end-to-end tests using Cypress.Work with TypeScript to ensure type safety and code consistency.Define data definitions using YAML.Create UI components based on provided requirements.Work with Kafka for data streaming and processing.Use Grafana to create dashboard graphs based on logging and telemetry data.Contribute to a Backstage.io application customized for corporate needs.Collaborate effectively in an Agile Jira-based Scrum team environment.

Requirements:Proficiency in React 17 and 18.Experience with Jest and Cypress for testing.Strong knowledge of TypeScript.Familiarity with YAML for defining data.Experience creating web components.Clean code and functional programming are a plus.Knowledge of Kafka and Grafana is a plus.Ability to work in an Agile Jira-based Scrum team.
