Your Role

As the Founding Front-End Engineer at Arkeo, you will play a crucial role in building the front-end of our data aggregation and analysis platform. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will lead the development of our front-end application using Vue 3, ensuring that it is not only functional but also intuitive and engaging for our users. You will be instrumental in setting the foundations for our product’s front-end, focusing on scalability, maintainability, and best practices in web development. We are looking for a candidate with a robust technical background, a keen eye for UX and design, and a passion for creating products that make a difference.

Responsibilities

Lead the front-end development of our platform, from conceptualization to deployment, using Vue 3.Help us grow and Lead the development team when it’s time to bring in more developers. Work closely with the CTO and product team to establish front-end architecture, coding standards, and best practices.Translate complex data and analysis requirements into user-friendly interfaces that provide meaningful insights to our users.Ensure the application is responsive, accessible, and performs well across various devices and platforms.Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and data.Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.Demonstrated experience as a front-end developer, with a strong portfolio featuring Vue.js projects or similar frameworks.Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processing platforms.Proven track record of designing and implementing effective UX/UI for complex web applications.Knowledge of front-end build tools and version control systems.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative remote environment.

Nice-to-HaveExperience with data visualization and tools (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js).Familiarity with AI concepts or working with AI-powered products.Experience in a startup environment, particularly in the tech or SaaS domains.Experience with AWS
