Location - Romania Responsibilities:Design client-side and server-side and document technical architectureWork with development teams, product owners and technical owners to ideate software solutionsWork in a key role in planning and implementing different parts of Virta’s systemsDevelop your skills towards taking technical ownership of some of our sub-systemsDo a lot of practical software development in various projects to develop further our current servicesWrite technical documentationGuide and instruct other developers who have less experience with node.js

Requirements:Proven experience as a back-end developer or similar roleKnowledge of back-end language Node.js and preferably also PHP and frameworks such as Nest.js, LaravelFamiliarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Postgres)Familiarity with technologies like Redis and ElasticsearchFamiliarity with Docker, K8s and REST APIFamiliarity with test driven architectureWork and communicate in a teamGreat communication skills and the ability to document things systematically and professionallyFluent in English, as it is the main working language at VirtaSeveral years of experience with software developmentCurrent residence inside the EU

We consider it a plus if you have:Familiar with GraphQLKnowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, React)Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.Knowledge of RabbitMQ and KafkaKnowledge of microservices and event driven architecturesExperience with CI/CD systems (GitLab) and DevOps tools (Terraform)Basic project management skillsCurrently, we are only considering candidates from Romania.
