Role Overview

RGS is seeking a talented UI Developer skilled in React and design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong portfolio of creating intuitive, user-centric interfaces and a passion for incorporating design thinking into development processes. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to meaningful projects that make a significant impact on sustainability and ethical governance practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React.Visualize data on a finance platform.Collaborate with members of the product and research team to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.Implement and advocate for best practices in UI design, ensuring accessibility and mobile responsiveness.Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow and functionality.Continuously evaluate and incorporate new technologies or frameworks to improve the application's performance and user experience.Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and maintain documentation.

Requirements

2-7 years of experience in UI development, with a strong focus on React and modern JavaScript frameworks.A solid understanding of web design principles and a keen eye for aesthetics.Proficiency in CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS or LESS) and front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt).Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.Familiarity with UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) and processes.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design and development choices clearly.A genuine interest in sustainability, ESG issues, and using technology to make a positive impact on the world.

This is a remote position, open to candidates based in Greece. Candidates should be comfortable working remotely and have a track record of being self-motivated and productive in such an environment.
