Senior Insights Developer

Purpose StatementAs a Senior BI Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the internal product team and delivering the requirements, as well as working with the Global Insights team to aligning technology roadmaps and best practices within sa.global.Within your Senior BI Developer role, you have experience in developing and implementing data driven BI solutions, which uses data from the various Microsoft Dynamics platforms including but not limited to Dynamics 365 Finance Operations/FSCM & Dynamics Customer Engagement. The ideal candidate has experience in the Microsoft Insights full stack as well as knowledge on new and upcoming technologies.

Position OverviewReporting directly to the Senior Product Manager and there are no direct line management responsibilities for this role, however there will be an expectation of leadership and mentorship.

This person will be required to be based in the UK. Normal working hours apply to this role (9am-5:30pm UK time).

Areas of Responsibility Work with the product team to align and agree on deliverables ensuring that the final development meets the scope/requirements of the product requests.Senior BI Developer for the Product Insights team and will lead the other product developers, ensuring they are completing requirements to the highest level possible and meeting the roadmap goals set by the Product Manager.Work with the Product Manager to suggest technical solutions to functional requirements as well as working with the Insights Solution Architect to ensure solution designs are fit for purpose and include any product specific requirements/rules.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the insights team.Represent the business professionally and positively at all times.Keep up to date with Microsoft’s latest releases and updates relating to Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Insights stack.

Skills and Experience:Experience in the Microsoft Insight stack which includes but not limited to:Azure SQL DB / Synapse Analytics / Azure Data LakeAzure Data Factory / Synapse PipelinesTabular Data Model / Azure Analysis Services / PBI Semantic ModelPower BI Reports & DashboardsExcellent understanding of the following languages:T-SQLDAX

TravelRemote role with occasional travel to Cardiff/Leeds office.
