We are seeking a seasoned SQL Developer with advanced proficiency in stored procedure analysis and SSIS, along with experience in database management systems such as SQL Server and Oracle, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in development and support, coupled with a deep understanding of SQL technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities:Lead the project for decommissioning SQL Server and associated stored proceduresConduct thorough analysis to assess the requirements and implications of decommissioningCollaborate closely with the integration team to ensure smooth execution of the decommissioning processPerform advanced analysis of stored procedures to identify dependencies, performance bottlenecks, and optimization opportunitiesDevelop strategies for refactoring or migrating stored procedures as neededAnalyze SSIS packages to ensure compatibility and readiness for decommissioningIdentify any data integration issues and propose solutions to address themAct as a point of contact for resolving support issues related to integration, SSIS, and dataInvestigate and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performanceWork closely with the integration team to resolve any integration or data issues that may arise during the decommissioning processProvide technical expertise and guidance to address complex integration or data challengesPerform database administration tasks related to SQL Server, including maintenance, performance tuning, and security managementEnsure the integrity, availability, and reliability of SQL Server databases
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fieldMinimum 8 years of experience in SQL development and support, with advanced proficiency in stored procedure analysis and SSISExperience with DBT is a plus, with a willingness to learn if not already familiarStrong understanding of database management systems, particularly SQL Server (Must Have) and Oracle (Good to have)Proven track record of delivering high-quality SQL solutions on time and within budgetExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
