Overview:Crossvale US is looking for an Associate Developer to join us remotely in Europe. In this role, you will provide support to an existing Python app and support in its conversion to Java. Duties and Responsibilities:General role dutiesDesign, develop, test, and release high quality, secure functionality in tight schedules.Follow team/client established practices for source control management systems.Work with customers to translate their specific needs into products / services.Implement and develop functionality from defined business requirements.Work as part of a distributed Agile teamProvide support to an existing Python app and support in its conversion to Java.Work on the migration from Oracle database to PostgreSQL. Specific position dutiesParticipate in architecture review of existing system.Review and contribute to architecture recommendations for solution refresh.Work under direction from team leader/solution architectContinuously develop relationships at the "implementation" level within each customer relationship Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Math, or related discipline.3+ years of relevant work experiencePythonDjangoJavaMicroservices developmentAutomation testing experience -> Unit testing Desired Qualifications:3+ years of experience developing Python.Experience in Oracle DatabaseDemonstrated ability to deliver solutions across a broad range of tasks and clients.A thorough understanding of source code control usage including branching, merging, and rebasingExperience working with QuarkusExperience working with PostgreSQL, Git svc, KeyCloak, and AWSExperience deploying solutions in a containerized and or cloud hosted environment.Experience in using Red Hat OpenShift Position Skills / Systems / Concepts:Language/Technologies required for position.Languages: Python, Java
