We create exceptional websites and apps and seek an experienced front end web developer to join our team. To work on projects for F2B Digital and F2B Sites (part of F2B Digital).
This role requires somebody with at least two years of relevant commercial front end web development experience, preferably in an agency environment.
This is a remote working role, with occasional face-to-face meetings and requires somebody located in the UK who is happy to travel to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk for this.
Primary ResponsibilitiesBuild the front-end of websites, primarily in WordPressHand coding of websites and email templates, using HTML and CSSAssist with website maintenance and website optimisationWorking with others in the team, performing reviews and testing
Other ResponsibilitiesDiscuss website builds and functionality with others, including clientsBuild of front-end app UIs (using XAML or Blazor) – training will be providedAssist with design amends for websites, mobile apps and web-based systems
Necessary SkillsSolid ability to produce well-built websites that closely reflect the design and provide a great user experience.Good working knowledge of WordPress, including GutenbergFront-end build coding skills (HTML, CSS)Knowledge and experience in ensuring builds comply with basic accessibility rules and are optimised for SEOWorking knowledge of Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word & Excel)Eye for detail and for creating exceptional resultsExcellent communication and time management skillsHighly motivated and able to work independentlyProactive with suggesting improvements to processes and techniquesGood quality English language skills, particularly written content
