Back End Web Developer (FULL-TIME/REMOTE)

About the Job:

We’re looking for a Back End Web Developer - to join our team!

Back End Web Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining the back-end infrastructure and systems that power our web and mobile applications. This individual possesses a strong understanding of back-end development principles and best practices, as well as experience with React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. This position requires working with the back-end team to ensure that all systems are built to high standards of quality and performance and staying up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in back-end development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Design and develop scalable and secure APIs using Node.js and Relational Database/NoSQL Database· Working with the product team to define and implement new features and functionality· Work with the front-end team to integrate back-end APIs with user interfaces· Optimize back-end systems for maximum performance and reliability· Write clean, maintainable, and reusable back-end code· Participate in code reviews and design discussions· Help to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues· Contributing to the development of our back-end engineering culture and practices

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience· Minimum of 5 years of experience in back-end development· Minimum of 3 years of experience with React, Node.js, and Relational Database/No SQL Database· Strong understanding of back-end development principles and best practices· Experience with writing clean, maintainable, and reusable back-end code· Experience with code reviews and design discussions· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:· Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS)· Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)· Experience with Docker· Experience with DevOps practices
