ETL Developer

Role: Informatica Developer (ETL) Key Responsibilities: ETL Development and Management: Design, develop, and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture using Informatica. Build and maintain ETL processes for data transformation, data cleansing, and data loading. Develop high-performance and scalable ETL solutions to manage complex data loads. Data Warehousing and Integration: Work with data warehousing concepts and methodologies. Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to design data integration solutions. Ensure consistency and integrity of data through the design and implementation of efficient workflows and processes. Performance Tuning and Optimization: Perform tuning and performance improvement of Informatica mappings, sessions, and workflows. Analyze and optimize data storage and retrieval processes. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., DBAs, data analysts) for successful project delivery. Provide support for deployed data applications and analytical tools. Documentation and Best Practices: Develop and maintain technical documentation for project solutions and processes. Adhere to best practices in data integration and ETL processes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as an Informatica Developer or in a similar role. Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and related Informatica technologies. Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases. Understanding of data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Familiarity with other ETL tools and BI technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
