Role- Oracle Apex ORDS Developer

Location- REMOTE

Duration: 12+ months

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Apex ORDS Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building web services across Oracle Apex applications and facilitating seamless integration between Oracle EBS and Oracle Apex applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web services using Oracle Apex and ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services). Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between different systems and applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define integration strategies. Create and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for data retrieval and manipulation. Implement security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data transmitted via web services. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web service performance, functionality, and compatibility. Document technical specifications, design decisions, and code changes for future reference. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Oracle Apex development and integration.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience working with Oracle Apex and ORDS. Strong understanding of RESTful architecture and web service development principles. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. Familiarity with Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) and its integration capabilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus.
