Company DescriptionKahunas.io is a game changing all-in-one coaching platform that revolutionises the way coaches & personal trainers manage their clients. We're looking for an expert level PHP Developer to join our team.

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for an expert PHP Developer, mainly working from home, we have 1-2 meet ups a week for a few hours where we work together in person.

You will be responsible for back-end web development, API development and object-oriented programming (OOP).

In your spare time you should be someone that geeks out over advances in technology, you should already be using AI to increase the velocity of your code and always consider how and where we can implement new technology and practices into our platform to better serve our users.

Qualifications & ExperienceExpert level PHP in various frameworks Laravel, CI etcStrong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Excellent programming skills adhering to best practices e.g. YAGNI, DRY, WET, KISS, SOLIDExperience with Git and continuous integration / deployment (CI/CD)Experience with MySQL databasesExperience in developing large scale API'sMust speak perfect English and be a great communicatorBachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
