Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Java Developer with Generative AI Expertise. The Java Developer will be responsible for software development, creating and maintaining microservices, programming, and working with the Spring Framework. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy Java applications.

Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Java-based healthcare applications, integrating state-of-the-art generative AI models to provide innovative solutions in diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient care.Work closely with healthcare professionals, data scientists, and AI experts to translate complex medical requirements into effective software solutions.Implement algorithms for processing and analyzing large datasets, including electronic health records (EHRs), imaging data, and genomic information, using generative AI techniques.Ensure applications comply with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, HL7) regarding data security and patient privacy.Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality software performance and reliability.Continuously monitor advancements in healthcare technology, AI, and software development practices to incorporate into our solutions.Document development processes, architectures, and healthcare application functionalities to ensure best practices and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field with a strong emphasis on healthcare applications.Proven experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate.Solid experience with generative AI technologies and their application in healthcare, including familiarity with machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and techniques relevant to NLP, image analysis, and predictive modeling.Experience in handling healthcare data and familiarity with medical terminologies and standards.Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and adapt to new technologies.Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and technical teams.

Desired Skills:Knowledge of interoperability standards (FHIR, DICOM) and experience integrating healthcare systems.Experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP) tailored for healthcare solutions.Understanding of front-end development technologies (React, Angular) for building user-centric interfaces.Contributions to open-source projects or publications in relevant healthcare technology fields.
