About the roleWe are searching for a talented and motivated Backend Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining the backend infrastructure for our application, with an additional focus on data analysis and web scraping functionalities.

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend for a web application.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Utilize data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) to extract insights and trends from various data sources.Implement web scraping techniques to gather relevant data from websites, ensuring ethical and responsible practices.Collaborate with data analysts and frontend developers to ensure seamless data flow and integration.Work on performance optimisation and scalability of the backend systems.Participate in code reviews and maintain a high standard of coding practices.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Python, Django, and data analysis libraries.

Qualifications:Proven experience as a Backend Developer with 2+ years of experience in a professional setting (or relevant freelance work).Proficiency in Python and Django framework.Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.Experience with data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) is a plus.Familiarity with web scraping techniques and ethical considerations (Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, etc.) is preferred.Experience with react.js / vue.js would be a huge plusExperience with CI/CD would be a merit.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
