Senior Kafka Developer - Remote India

Together with the customer, we deliver top performance!For one of our Clients in the Insurance Segment we are searching for a Kafka Specialist Developer.Responsibilities:As a Specialist Kafka Developer you will: - Build and maintain message configuration and flows - Provide issue analysis on Kafka applications- Translate written requirements and specifications - Develop software on written requirements - Assist with MDM strategy and Process design - Run unit tests - Document tests and present findings - Analyse issues with Kafka software and provide detailed solutions - Collaborate with team members for operations support - Maintain performance of applications and databasesMandatory Skills Description:- Minimum 7-10 years of industry development exp using Kafka.- Extensive knowledge on Kafka Stream and Kafka Connect.- Knowing all ins and outs of Kafka (open source and Confluent )- Managing and monitoring Kafka cluster- Experience with working Agile / Azure DevOps- Setting up a robust CI/CD- Driven to deliver, capable of working both autonomously as well as in a team.- Pro-active and assertive work attitude- Communicative with a fluency in English- Experience with API development and REST services is preferred- Solution Design- Requirements engineeringNice-to-Have Skills:- Experienced in creating Kafka events.- Familiarity with Reinsurance, Finance, Claims and Underwriting.- Re-insurance software - DXC SICS or any other. Also SICS Data model.- CDC (Claim by Direct Click)
