Senior Web Developer(Wordpress)

Description of Responsibilities · Responsible for the management and enhancement of Digitalzone’s primary and secondary websites.· Manage Digitalzone’s CMS, WordPress, for all authors and participating parties.· Proactively recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions to those deficiencies.· Write secure code and architect applications and features.· Participates in all phases of the development life cycle, focusing on coding, testing, and debugging.· Works on the maintenance or enhancement of existing data structures· Researches, evaluates, and analyzes technical and design requirements.· Participates in cross-functional discussions and effectively communicates information, both written and verbally to members of the marketing team· Maintains up-to-date knowledge of related tools, trends, and developments.· Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.· Documents all technology changes through appropriate change control.· Provides support and troubleshooting of prior developed technology solutions.· Provide regular reporting for web property performance.· Acts as subject matter expert in front-end development, back-end development, and infrastructure. Summary Of Requirements · Minimum eight years’ experience architecting and building scalable and high-volume websites required.· Expert in development for WordPress, with experience with Beaver Builder· Expert in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript· Proficient in JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular· Proficient in integrations with web monitoring and extension platforms, like Google Tag Manager.· Proficient in cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform with a solid understanding of serverless technology and CDNs· Experience with NoSQL and/or SQL databases· Experience with headless content management systems such as Contentful, Sanity, or Prismic.· Knowledge in building accessible (WCAG 2.0) applications.· Experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a huge plus.· Ability to identify and quickly fix browser and desktop/mobile compatibility issues.· Familiar with integrated development environments such as Visual Studio and version control systems such as Git· Excellent technical troubleshooting skills· Excellent time management and teamwork skills· Ability to follow technical specifications and production processes.· Thorough attention to detail
