Senior Frontend Developer

Title: Senior Frontend DeveloperLocation: Remote - Permanent WFH

Techolution is looking for a Senior UI Developer to join our team. As a Sr Frontend Developer, you will own the WoW digital experience from inception to live model. This role involves building, leading, and growing a highly collaborative team and acts as a thought leader for the team. You will forge a vision that the whole team can use as a beacon or guiding light in the performance of their duties and communicate the vision in order to deliver the next paradigm in customer experience, hence, always keeping the business’s product relevant and engaging to the consumers.

This position will directly contribute to the WoW customer experience by consistently delivering excellent customer care and support service that reflects an intelligently run, smooth operation. Our ideal candidate enjoys a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

Responsibilities:

Providing technical expertise for every phase of the project lifecycle; from concept development to solution design, implementation, optimization, and supportInvolve in problem solving along with designing the software structureBe an Interface with stakeholders and architects to create technology specifications from business requirements for the projectExperience in developing strategies for effective front end development and long term architectural planningHire and develop a high performing & accountable culture and team. Engage developers to listen into different forums to understand client behaviors & needs and provide innovative solutionsProficient in articulating the pros and cons of using a certain technology stack or component or design pattern versus another to the clients and project team and drives the selection of technologies, designs to come up with the optimal architectureDrives the performance tuning, re-design, and re-factoring to deliver the MVP’s successfully.Implements (hands-on) the module components based on prevailing Framework and Open -source standards & its best practices.Mentors the team on technology concepts and best practices for design, implementation and other processesWork closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, stakeholders and engineers from concept to execution on high-scope feature sets and design challengesLeading the UI/UX process you will deliver excellent solutions that fit business and product goals while providing customer value and inspiring the team as a whole

Skills Required:

Excellent quality, design, development and delivery skills in scrum teams working in short development and release cycles.Should have Experience in Angular+Expertise in browser compatible HTML5 & CSS3 standards, CSS preprocessors and familiarity with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Semantic) & TypescriptExperience leading a team of Software Engineers focused on improving developer velocity, scalability and test ability.Demonstrable knowledge of unit and e2e testing methodologies and tools, particularly as applied to JavaScript development.Ability to discuss and design along the concepts of: REST, OOPS, and productivity, maintainability and scalability of the written codeProven ability to lead a team with minimal supervisionStrong sense of ownership along with problem solving.Ability to multi task under time sensitive environments and meet deadlinesShould be a team player, communicator and facilitator and enjoy working with others to solve complex problemsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
