Senior Full Stack Developer

Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer with demonstrable experience Java, JavaScript, jQuery and experienced with front end and back end frameworks such as AngularJS and/or ReactJS.

Responsibilities

Full Stack Developer Responsible for delivering codes software applications based on business requirements, Working assignments involving moderately to sophisticated issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Developing fully fledged platforms which do not need other applications to function, you will use a variety of different technologies and languages (such as Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js and .Net/Java) to develop applications.As a Full Stack Developer, you will approach software holistically to cater to both user experience and functionality to produce scalable software solutions.You will be part of a multi-functional team that’s responsible for the software development process cycle, from conception to deployment.As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.You should also be a teammate with an interest in visual design and utility, Working with development teams and product managers to conceptualize software solutions and Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual designWrite effective APIs, Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software and Build security and data protection settings.Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design and Write technical documentationWork in a Scrum/Agile type environment and deliver upon assigned work in a timely manner over the course of an iterative project timetable.Be available for execution or support of production turns.Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages.Maintain modern development standards with best-practice approaches and development processes.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in Java.Experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery (Advanced), NPM/Node.js (Advanced), Vue.js, Angular, or React (Advanced).Technical Skills like Typescript (Advanced), C#, .NET/Java, SASS, W3C Web Standards.Advanced understanding of modular design patterns, Accessibility, Web performance, Cross-browser compatibility, Content Management (advanced experience and best-practices), Technical writing/interpersonal skills, Unit and Experience Testing (Advanced) and Webpack (Advanced)

Location : Louisville, KY or Remote in USA

Salary And Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 43,900 to 129,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
