Senior Angular UI Developer - 100% Remote

Role: Senior Angular UI DeveloperLocation: 100% (Costa Rica)Duration: Long Term Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Angular UI Developer to join our team developing web-based applications to leverage "big data" platform. As a UI Developer on our team, you will analyze complex business requirements and problems and drive research to design quality technical solutions. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software. You will be actively involved throughout the project lifecycle, oftentimes starting with rapid prototypes early in the design phase, but most of the time you will ultimately be writing clean, production-ready code, which will be integrated with the backend/APIs. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks and functions. Responsibilities• Develop User interfaces with the latest Front End Technologies.• Perform analysis and development tasks of an increasingly complex nature which may require research and analysis.• Understand and analyze requirements to help define and scope projects.• Collaborate with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful APIs.• Adhere to and contribute to UI/UX standardization, best practices, and coding standards.• Develop, test, and document well-thought-out architected commented code. Minimum Qualifications• Minimum 8 years of software development experience, • 3+ years' experience with Angular ^7.0, Typescript, HTML5, SASS• B.S/M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent (Strong Computer Science fundamentals)• Professional, precise communication and collaboration skills required• Good critical thinking, problem-solving, and time-management skills• Hand on and implement complex AngularJS applications, directives, controllers, services• Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience• Experience creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components Preferred Qualifications• Experience working with an Agile development methodology a plus. • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket), a plus.• Experience with Angular Material a plus.• Experience with SpringBoot APIs is a plus.• Experience with Figma, and Adobe XD a plus.• Experience with Big Data/Hadoop components a plus.
