Job Title: Software Developer for Autochart ApplicationLocation: [Vancouver, BC] - [Remote/On-site/Hybrid]
About Us:We are a team of individuals on a mission to revolutionize nursing documentation through our innovative Autochart application. We want to leverage existing technology to streamline the documentation process, enhance patient care, and alleviate the workload on healthcare professionals. We're seeking a talented and passionate Software Developer to join our interdisciplinary team and contribute to this transformative project.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the development of the Autochart application Collaborate with other software developers and AI experts to implement and refine natural language processing (NLP) features.Work closely with the nursing informatics team to understand user requirements and optimize the application for a healthcare setting.Ensure the application complies with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and maintain high standards of data security and privacy.Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including ideation, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the application based on user feedback and performance metrics.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in software development, particularly with languages such as Python, Java, or C++.Experience with SQLExperience with AI and machine learning, especially NLP, is highly desirable.Familiarity with healthcare systems, EMRs, and compliance requirements is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
