Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Senior Fortran Developer. As a Senior Fortran Developer, you will be responsible for performing programming, maintenance, and support of existing software applications and creating new applications using Fortran programming language. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code, as well as collaborate with software engineers and scientists to develop and enhance scientific and technical software solutions.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Fortran programming languageExperience in software development and maintenance using FortranKnowledge of scientific and technical software development principles and best practicesExperience with performance optimization and code parallelization techniquesUnderstanding of numerical methods and algorithms used in scientific computingExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related fieldExperience with version control systems and software development toolsStrong communication and collaboration skills
