Responsibilities● Deliver support for new and existing features of Google Cloud Compute Engine API in open source Terraform Google Cloud Platform Provider providers● Triage, debug and resolve tickets registered for Terraform provider under Compute Engine API in respective open source repositories or issue tracker adopted for the needs of the service, following the defined SLO● Coordinate the prioritization of work and review the proposed solutions with delegated Google Software Engineers owning business logic of respective Terraform resources in Google Cloud● Triage and address integration tests failures related to Compute Engine API resources● Deliver feedback and propose improvements for Terraform Google Cloud Platform Provider Minimum qualifications● Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience ● 3 years of software development experience● Experience in running cloud environments based on Virtual Machines● Experience with cloud deployment automation Preferred qualifications● Practical experience in managing cloud deployments with Terraform● Professional certification or equivalent work experience in building cloud environments with Google Compute Engine● Software development experience in Go language● Proficient communication skills in customer support - including formulation of needs, debugging complex environments, problem analysis
