Role DescriptionThis is a temporary remote role for a Front End Developer (UI) at Haystackers Inc. As a Front End Developer (UI), you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for our peer-to-peer platform. Design, develop and test UI web apps Convert designs into ReactJS components and translate project requirements into functional code Create effective, reusable code and libraries Configure front-end and back-end validations Identify and troubleshoot interface software and application issues Run unit and integration testing of the application to ensure responsiveness of the user interface design Keep documentation of application updates and monitor application performance Stick to architectural compliance, functional accuracy validation, and application development best practices Minimum requirements Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience) 2 years of experience in web application development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers) Proficiency in NextJS, React.js, Node.js, RESTful web services, HTML, CSS, etcQualificationsProven experience as a Front End Developer or similar roleProficiency in NextJS, React.js, RESTful web services, HTML, CSS, etcExperience with front-end libraries and frameworks such as ReactUnderstanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibilityExperience with version control systems such as GitGood understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to themAbility to work in a collaborative and fast-paced team environmentExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
