Mobile Analytics Developer

Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Analytics Developer to enhance our mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms by implementing Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This role requires a balance of technical expertise in mobile development, a deep understanding of analytics, and collaboration skills. As a key member of our consumer-facing mobile app development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing analytics solutions that will provide valuable insights and help drive data-driven decisions.

What you will do (Responsibilities):Review and refactor existing analytics code to improve performance and maintainability.Remove or update legacy code related to previous analytics implementations.Execute unit testing and collaborate with QA Mobile team members executing testing activities on the analytics work.Maintain detailed documentation of all analytics features and implementations.Collaborate with the development team to identify analytics requirements and implement analytics tracking using Google Analytics 4.Write code to capture and send tracking data to GA4 for custom event tracking.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in analytics development and make recommendations to improve our analytics capabilities.Write and maintain technical documentation related to analytics development, including tracking specifications, code documentation, and standard operating procedures.Develop and execute A/B tests to optimize app performance and user engagement.Work with other developers and data analysts to build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.

What You'll need (Required Qualifications):Required Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in integrating analytics solutions using Google Analytics 4 on iOS and Android.Strong understanding of mobile app development and mobile app analytics best practices.Experience in designing and developing custom events, dimensions, and metrics in Google Analytics 4.Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience with other analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Amplitude is a plus.Experience with data modeling, database design, and SQL is preferred.
