Role DescriptionThis is a remote Senior Android TV Developer contract role for a client of ours. As a Senior Android TV Developer, you will be responsible for contributing to the continued development of an existing Android TV application. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and implement solutions that align with business requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with the wider development team to maintain and improve existing code to ensure high-quality output. For example, you may be tasked with:updating page designs for new product featuresimplementing new featurespresenting data as they come back from servicesupgrade older constructs to newer Google best practices

This is an ongoing, full-time (40 hours per week) position.

Requirements:3+ years of experience in Android TV DevelopmentProven track record of developing an app that is available in the Google Play Store

Other Qualifications:Experience with Java and/or Kotlin, and other Android TV SDKs/IDEsExperience with web services integration and development, including REST APIs and JSONSolid experience with version control tools such as Git and Agile/Scrum methodologiesExcellent problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of ownership and driveExperience with video and audio playback technologiesStrong verbal and written communication skills in English
