We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to be part of an exciting 2-month project to build integrations for an upcoming major sports event. You'll have the ability to use your SNOW dev skills to build solutions related to the operation of core ITSM modules. You'll be proficient in building RESTful integrations, using the App Engine, UI Builder or other SNOW tool to ensure we're able to create new functionality for the business. We are working on new capabilities and enhancements on this project. Our ServiceNow Developer will be the technical subject management expert responsible for the design, development, administration, and rollout of solutions on the ServiceNow platform for this project. The ServiceNow Developer will work with internal customers, Scrum Master, Technical Product Managers, and other Developers to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes needed to support the enterprise.
This project can be done remotely and will be 40 hours week for a 2-month project. ResponsibilitiesPerform development and configuration of a variety of areas including, but not limited to Service Portal, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Release / SDLC, Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Project, Timecards, Mobility, Reporting and Performance Analytics.Collaborate with a global team to scope and design solutions for documented business and technical needs, with an emphasis on / preference for minimizing customization.Design technical solutions to address complex requirements, evaluate alternate solutions, identify the best option, and implement the solution.Design, develop and configure workflows, forms, scripts, and underlying logic using Scrum / Agile methodologies.Formulate and implement a Quality Assurance strategy, with solutions for unit, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.Participate actively in automation efforts on the platform.Analyze, troubleshoot, and remedy identified system issues.Qualifications & RequirementsRequires a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related areas. In lieu of bachelor's degree, extensive familiarity with the field's concepts, practices and procedures is required.3+ years of ServiceNow development experience.Experience working with the ServiceNow App Engine, UI Builder and Studio Service Portal productsStrong understanding of the ServiceNow Application Suite covering core ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change) modules.Experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, XML, SOAP, REST, Jelly, etc.)Strong grounding in fundamentals of web application development (identity, security etc.).Experience working with structured data, schema, and databases.Experience integrating internal and external (SaaS based) applications using RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0 and GraphQL.Knowledge of ITIL concepts.Exposure to the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) and CMDB Identification and Reconciliation Rules (IRE) for data ingestion.Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt appropriately.Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies applicable to the ServiceNow platform.Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Desired Certified ServiceNow Administrator, Certified ServiceNow Developer, Certified ServiceNow Implementation SpecialistITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Certification or equivalent practical experienceRelevant software development certificationsExperience maintaining version control systems (Git etc.)Exposure to cloud architectures such as AWS, Azure, Google CloudExposure to Identity Management and Single Sign on/Active Directory integrationsExperience with Automation and DevOps PracticesExperience with Agile and Scrum development approachesComfortable leading in both technical and organizational contextsExperience working with large global / multinational corporationsThe US pay range for this contract position is $45-$65/hour. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
