As400 Developer

We are seeking a skilled AS400 Developer to join our team and support the production systems of LifeAsia and Integral Group. They will be responsible for program enhancements, system analysis, design, testing, and documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide support for the production systems of LifeAsia and Integral Group.Develop enhancements for LifeAsia and/or Group 400 systems.Coordinate efficiently with other IT sections and within the Core Application Team.Collaborate with the Web Application Team on front-end applications.Perform system analysis, design, and system unit/integration testing.Prepare/update technical specifications and end-user system job instructions documents.Liaise with external parties for system collaboration and testing.Maintain compliance with KPIs, work instructions, guidelines, security controls, and audit controls.Ensure quality deliverables, documentation, and reporting for assigned work.

Job Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.Minimum 3 years of hands-on coding experience in SMART 400 on AS400.Sound experience in the Life Insurance industry will be a plus. Knowledge of both Life-400 and Group-400 systems is advantageous.Meticulous and highly accurate in coding and documentation.Systematic in tracking time spent on assigned projects.Open only for Malaysians.
