Today, we have a strong foundation in place, with a mature product, rapid growth, strong product-market fit, and happy customers.

As we continue to expand our team and drive innovation, we are looking for a Software Developer who shares our passion for tackling complexity and building simple, beautiful, and scalable software.

This diversity in projects exposes developers to different facets of the application, offering opportunities to tackle varied challenges.We emphasize collaboration and decision-making involvement, enabling you to work closely with fellow developers and designers.Unlike a rigid separation between front end and back end, you'll engage in full-stack development, working with Ruby on Rails and React.We prioritize creating an environment where our development team can concentrate on building and delivering features. About the Role:Collaborate within a squad to facilitate timely feature delivery, actively participating in planning, discovery, and design phases.Provide insights and expertise on broader technical decisions impacting the team, including the review of work by junior developersPropose enhancements to our technology stack, coding standards, and operational processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:2 years of experience working professionally with Ruby on Rails1 year of experience working professional with React.Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and subjects, conduct thorough research, and effectively communicate findings to team members.Demonstrated enthusiasm and care for the work performed. A genuine interest in the tasks at hand, coupled with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.Proficiency in verbal and written communication to ensure clear and concise conveyance of ideas within the team. Ability to discern appropriate communication channels and adapt communication style for various audiences, including clients and third-party partners.Based in the UK with work authorization

Interview ProcessStage 1: Initial ChatA conversation with a member of our Talent team to discuss your interest in the role and experience, with an opportunity to ask questions about us. We will provide clear next steps and a timeline and will always follow up with you shortly afterward.

Stage 2: Technical AssessmentIf we hire you, we want you to be successful. So if the interview went well and we’re all aligned, we’ll ask you to complete a short technical assessment focused on the stack we use here. We'll provide you with clear written instructions, ensuring not to occupy a significant amount of your time. As a gesture of fairness and respect for your efforts, we will compensate you for your time.

Stage 3: Technical InterviewThis interview with the CTO (Bill) will focus on your technical role, highlighting your skills and problem-solving abilities.

They will discuss your technical proficiency, problem-solving approach, and how you can contribute to our technological vision. You'll also gain insights into the technical direction of projects and can inquire about your potential role.

They are interested in understanding your technical aspirations and ensuring a seamless fit within our dynamic team, emphasizing alignment with our company's technological goals.

Stage 4: Final InterviewIn the final stage of the process, you'll meet with our CEO, Tom. This is an opportunity for you to inquire about Pinpoint's long-term plans, current challenges, and the impactful role you're set to play.

Tom will explore your goals during your time at Pinpoint and assess your ability to thrive in our working environment, emphasizing alignment with our company values.

Finally, this will be your chance to address any lingering questions or concerns you may have regarding the company or your role.
