With a focus on delivering high-impact features, we embrace a highly iterative, analytical approach.Join us as a Mid-Senior Software Engineer and be a part of our Development team, contributing to our mission of reshaping the future of insurance.PROJECT STACK and TEAM::Frontend Development (React/Typescript): Implementing user interface components using React and Typescript, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility.Backend Development (Python Machine Learning): Developing machine learning algorithms for content recommendation, integrating them into the backend system.UI/UX Design (HTML/CSS): Designing and prototyping user interfaces using HTML and CSS, ensuring intuitive and visually appealing designs.Build and Deployment (Maven, Git/Github): Managing project dependencies and build processes using Maven, implementing version control and CI/CD pipelines using Git/Github.Integration and Microservices (C#/.NET): Developing backend services and APIs using C# and .NET, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components and thorough testing.Availability: 8am to 6pm (London Time)This project team, primarily based in London, UK, collaborates during regular working hours to develop and deploy a personalized content recommendation system. The team leverages technologies like React/Typescript, Python machine learning, HTML/CSS, Maven, Git/Github, and C#/.NET to deliver a high-quality solution meeting user requirements and industry standards.MAIN REQUIREMENTS::Seasoned mid-senior level engineer adept at navigating modern web stacks, with a focus on SOLID principles and ER modeling.Proficient in server-side languages like C# .NET or JVM-based, coupled with expertise in cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code.Skilled in implementing continuous integration/delivery and utilizing tools like Maven, Git/Github for efficient development workflows.Well-versed in agile methodologies, contributing to regular ceremonies and utilizing project management tools like Jira.Assist in transitioning multiple C# services to a Kotlin-based microservices architecture, while enforcing quality control through automated testing, pairing, and code review.GOOD TO HAVE::Preferably experienced in financial markets, Fintech, or Insurtech sectors, bringing a comprehensive understanding of industry-specific requirements.
