Essential Job Duties:

Participate in requirements definition, analysis, design, implementation, debugging, testing, and optimization of computer programs on workstations.Contribute to completing technical projects/organizational objectives on multidisciplinary teamsAssist in the design, implementation, and deployment of software systems using standard analysis, design, and programming techniques.Determines solution approach to client requirements.Develops detailed system design specifications to serve as a guide for system/program development.Analyzes requirements and develops modules with keeping the future in mind.Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs to correct errors, isolate areas for improvement, and general debugging.Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.

Job Requirements:

3+ years of experience with most of the components of our stack: Python (is a must) MySQL, AWS (Aurora, Dynamo, EC2, CodeBuild), FlaskExperience in the development and consumption of microservices and APIs.Experience working with data normalization and ETL systems.Understanding and some experience designing and building client/server, multi-user and multi-tenant architectures.Experience with CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with containers and orchestration.Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.Familiarity with the Agile methodology.Strong verbal and communication skills.
