Developer Evangelist

Wormhole FoundationOur mission is to empower passionate people in the research and development of blockchain interoperability technologies. We support teams building secure, open-source, and decentralized products within the Wormhole ecosystem.

The Role:As a Developer Evangelist at the Wormhole Foundation, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption and growth of our cross-chain products among developers. You will be responsible for engaging with developers, supporting at hackathons, building educational content, contributing to product improvement process, and fostering a vibrant developer community as the external face and personality representing Wormhole’s product and engineering team.

The Responsibilities:Advocate for Wormhole’s technology and products within the blockchain developer community.Build and maintain relationships with developers, providing technical guidance and support.Constantly seek feedback from developers in order to improve Wormhole’s developer experienceCreate and deliver compelling presentations, workshops, and demos to showcase our products and educate developers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and drive product enhancements based on developer needs.Contribute to the development of technical documentation, tutorials, and sample code to assist developers in integrating our technologies.Represent Wormhole Foundation at conferences, meetups, hackathons, and other relevant events.Help other developers by interacting on Discord, Stack Overflow, Twitter, GitHub, or places where developers come for help online

Qualifications:Proven experience as a Developer Evangelist or similar role on a top team in cryptoHighly personable, engaging, and energeticHighly technical, ideally with a strong understanding of cross-chain protocols and DeFiPassion for engaging with developers and building developer communities.Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
