Job Title: Python Developer (Data Pipelines)

Job Description:

As a Python Developer specializing in data pipelines, your primary responsibility will be to construct robust data pipelines for acquiring data from multiple websites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous flow of high-quality data into our systems. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, with expertise in HTML and Python development. Familiarity with libraries like BeautifulSoup is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data pipelines to efficiently fetch data from diverse web sources.Develop and maintain data analysis algorithms to automate data processing tasks.Implement web crawling and web scraping techniques using Python, with experience in frameworks like Scrapy and headless automation tools like Selenium.Utilize regular expressions and data storage procedures to handle and store acquired data effectively.Collaborate with the team to understand data requirements and ensure the reliability and accuracy of data pipelines.Conduct unit testing to validate the functionality and integrity of developed code.Adhere to coding best practices and maintain well-documented, commented code for easy maintenance and scalability.Demonstrate proficiency in database technologies including SQL and NoSQL, with MongoDB experience being advantageous.Familiarity with machine learning and natural language processing concepts is preferred, with experience in libraries such as spaCy.Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.Knowledge of R programming language is beneficial.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in HTML and Python development.Proficiency in regular expressions and data storage procedures.Experience with web crawling and web scraping techniques in Python, preferably with Scrapy.Knowledge of headless automation tools like Selenium.Ability to develop unit tests and ensure code quality.Strong coding hygiene with thorough commenting practices.Familiarity with databases, including SQL and NoSQL, with MongoDB experience preferred.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience with machine learning and natural language processing.Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.Proficiency in the R programming language.
