What You'll Get To Do

Develop an early-stage product within a fast-paced and dynamic development team.Evaluate technologies to identify opportunities, and best solutions, that can be used to strengthen our technology platform and development practicesInterface with product managers, designers, architect, and other stakeholders to understand features and develop plans for building themPerform peer code review; onboard and mentor new software engineers, review code and enforce coding standardsWrite tests for your code and ensure your solutions are rock-solidProvide guidance related to the technical design of new applications/systems and architecture. Contribute to proof-of-concept and feasibility analysis.Be a proponent of Scrum/Agile methodology, adopting interactive approach to support frequent release of high-quality features.Balance priorities between new features, improvement requests, and bugfixes to support active customersWork with Product, Release, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of updates and plan releasesSupport and mentor a team of engineers and ensure that they are empowered to do good work

Skills And Experience We Value

5+ years of professional experience with front-end web software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSSExperience with Front End frameworks like React and Next JSExperience in working with RESTful APIs and applications using JavaScriptWork with an existing design system to iterate quickly on new features for our web applicationComputer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, functional programming, data structures and algorithmsAbility to learn and adapt to new, complex development environmentsAbility to analyze interface mockups in Figma and accurately render designs in codeExcellent collaboration skills with cross-functional team membersSolid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methodsAnalytical skills, excellent communication skills, and strong team ethicsExperience with highly scaled, highly available, highly performant, and secure digital platformsExperience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
