Back End Developer (PHP)

We are a Swedish startup focused on digitalization and automation solutions. As we continue to expand, we seek a talented Junior Developer to join our team and contribute to developing our back-end products written in PHP, Python, and MySQL databases.

Role Overview:As a Junior Developer, you will work closely with our tech lead to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure the reliability of our Telegram customer management and sales bot. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various technologies, including PHP, MySQL, Python, Linux, and networking while collaborating with experienced tech leads to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend features for our services using PHP and MySQL.Assist in implementing front-end enhancements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.Collaborate with the team to design and implement API integrations and data processing pipelines.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Contribute to improving development processes and tools, including version control with GitHub and project management with Jira.

Requirements:

Proficiency in PHP and MySQL with a strong understanding of web development principles.Familiarity with Python and willingness to learn and apply it in the context of our projects.Experience with version control systems, preferably GitHub.Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira or similar.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus Skills:

Experience with frontend development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Familiarity with security best practices in web development.
