The Java Developer is a challenging and dynamic position essential to the success of software implementation projects specific to the Pricefx platform.

You will work directly with customers in requirements gathering, data integration, software configuration and scripting, report creation and interact with remote project teammates to maximize value for our customers.

Ideal Candidate

You will work in close partnership with remote technical teams, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Here are a few other skills and qualifications you should have:

Proficiency in written and spoken EnglishObject-oriented programming principlesProgramming experience in Java is a mustExperience in .NET, JavaScript or Python is a plusExperience in Groovy is a big plusExperience with relational databases is a mustDatabase query design, data handling and data integration skills (SQL, Excel)Web technologies (HTML, JSON, REST API, etc.)Pricing domain projects is a big plusEnterprise Software implementation projects is an advantageDemonstrated cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work as part of a remote teamExcellent technical and analytical skillsExcellent organization and time management skills, ability to set own task lists and timelinesSuccess in a customer facing role

Activities

Throughout the project development lifecycle, there are many roles. Here are a few sample activities that our consultants execute daily:

Assist in system design, implementation and configuration of Pricefx solution according to customer needs using Groovy languageAssist in communicating, gathering, and formalizing customer requirementsCooperating with Pricefx support team and customers on resolving technical issuesSupporting Solution Architects to develop and maintain user storiesConfiguring solutions according to Solution Architecture guidelines and user story requirementsCooperating with the project teams to resolve issuesContributing to product enhancements

Please note that travel to the United States either for training purposes or client meetings is possible; therefore, having a valid US Travel Visa is a plus.
