iOS Developer

Overview:GoPlace is searching for a dedicated Mobile Developer with expertise in Swift to play a key role in the evolution of our SaaS solution designed for the hospitality sector. You will focus on crafting and improving our mobile applications using Swift, to deliver an unparalleled user experience.This position is ideal for a seasoned expert in iOS application development. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, overseeing the feature design and execution, diagnosing and resolving problems, and guaranteeing the release of top-notch mobile apps.

Responsibilities:Develop groundbreaking features for our product.Perform code reviews to maintain the highest standard of code quality.Test code for strength, including handling edge scenarios, usability, and reliability.Engage in agile planning sessions to decompose user stories into technical actions.Offer precise task duration estimates to enhance planning accuracy.Work in collaboration with fellow developers, product managers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure the delivery of an exceptional product.Proactively research, identify, and integrate cutting-edge technologies to optimize development processes.Advocate for and adhere to industry-leading software development practices, contributing to our ongoing process of improvement.Actively contribute to team meetings with updates on project status and input on strategic planning.Develop a responsive application compatible with both iPhone and iPad.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.1-3 years of experience in the development of iOS apps.Experience with Swift Experience with Objective-C is a plus.Expert knowledge of the iOS SDK (UIKit, Storyboards, Core Animation, Core Data, Auto-layout).A strong understanding of design patterns.Extensive knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks, ideally some understanding of Automation testing.Knowledge about with newly release updates from Apple, Swift UI, Widgets, AppClips is a great addition.Have published +2 iOS apps in the App Store.Knowledge about continuous integration systems.Expert knowledge of asynchronous programming (GCD, NSOperationQueue, Promises).Knowledge about different design architecture MVC, MVVM, MVP, VIPRE.Experience with git or other version control systems.Experience with dependency managers e.g: CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager, Carthage.Expertise in Agile development methodologies.
