Sr. Java Full-Stack Developer (Fully Remote)

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Java Full Stack Developer with 6-10 years’ experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. About You

Primary Responsibilities

Building and consuming both RESTful API endpoints and asynchronous events to implement business logic.Building reusable code and libraries to be leveraged across our team and technology stack.Design reusable components, frameworks, and librariesPartner closely with architecture teams and drive solutionsParticipate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through sprints.Communicating thoughtfully with team members through design review, code review, and day-to-day collaboration, review code, and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance.Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and develop solutions as required.Comply with OCM software engineering practices, standards, and principles.Implement solutions aligned to the enterprise strategy, leveraging strategic tools/technologies, patterns, and processesIdentify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications, automation of common tasks, processes/system capabilities for continuous improvement as applicablePartner with teams to build robust, efficient, effective solutions.Identify and resolve security and compliance findings.

Required Qualifications
