In this role, you will learn the ins and outs of these systems, and you will build the analytics infrastructure to study them in our modern data lake. You will become agilon's expert leader in healthcare quality metrics, and work in tight partnership with other critical teams such as Finance, Clinical Analytics, and Medical Economics.

Be part of an agile team working collaboratively with agilon leadership and many different cross-functional teams, including UX, Product, Technology, Operations, and our Clinician teams.
Leverage your analytical thinking to explore our ever-growing datasets to test hypotheses and bring life to your own insights.
Become agilon’s expert in the complex system of quality and pay-for-performance metrics in value-based care.
Generate insights that help improve patient outcomes and/or reduce medical waste.- Continuously learn and share your new-found knowledge with others.
Desired Traits:
4+ years' experience performing data analysis and generating intuitive reports for common quality metrics in the healthcare domain: e.g. NCQA, STARs, HEDIS, risk adjustment, clinical analytics, or health economics.
Highly proficient in SQL and data modeling, and familiarity with any data visualization tool (e.g. Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Excel). Some knowledge of dbt preferred.
Some experience with coding in Python or other languages is preferred.
Takes ownership over the insights the team generates, and the processes used to develop those analyses, keeping our users' needs in clear focus.
Intellectually curious about data, with an ability to balance meeting deadlines with the ability to explore beyond the immediate problem at hand.
Comfortable in a startup environment and ready to “roll up your sleeves.”
Excellent communicator and a nimble learner.
