ABOUT US:We're looking for a long term addition to our core team — you will become a guru here and be part of an elite/tight coding team. Have intimate knowledge of Python/Django, Un*x, PostgreSQL, AWS, and ideally some data engineering ETL/DAG/Data-Warehouse knowledge as well.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Be a serious Python programmer with 8+ years professional (paid) experience coding and at least 2 coding Python recently. WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR JUNIOR DEVS AT THIS TIME.Capable of re-architecting/refactoring challenging code to modern standards (so junior devs can contribute more readily).Able to wear many hats! Design/code/test/maintain (and READ!) Python, research proxies/crawlers, tighten up devops, optimize SQL, design next-gen system (Dagster or Airflow + Snowflake). Be an IC but also be comfortable making high-level architecture plans and then executing on them.Willing to "get dirty" with technical deep dives on bugs and new tech that requires more than reading stack exchange. We need a gunslinger here! Be resourceful and inquisitive!
