🔴 Exciting opportunity - Java Developer (Machine Learning) - Fully Remote
Another day comes another exciting role! 💯
Did you ever wonder why, when you seem to say something by your phone or look at a product weeks ago and you suddenly get personalised ads on your mobile phone, whether that's on Facebook, X, LinkedIn etc??
This is actually down to some extremely seriously smart companies working behind the scenes to translate data for companies using Machine Learning Algorithms. Ultimately giving you a more personalised experience when using your phone through a mobile network.
To do this clever marketing practice, we need Engineers to help utilise and bring the data forwards into a new revolution!
In this one as a Java Developer you will be right in the mist of it, working closely with the frontend team to manage and create new Java programmes for the central database as the requests come in.
Ideally I'd like to talk to Mid to Senior Weighting Engineers on this one who can be self starters and don't mind getting their hands dirty in a start up business using predominantly Java but lending their hands to other technologies.
The scope of your role will include participating in the whole of the Software Development Lifecycle, focusing predominantly on developing new Java code with the occasional Test Driven Development practice.
You'll be collaborating with Front End Developers in order to integrating the user integrated system, if you've got experience of how to integrate React or standard Javascript programmes then this will benefit your application.
Tech stack wise this exciting start-up are currently using:
-Java, Kafka, Microservices, AWS, Springboot, Apache, REST, JSON, Docker, Kubernetes.
The role itself is Fully Remote, as long as you are within the UK and have Full Rights to work without the need to be sponsored by the company.
If you are interested, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with myself, applications will go in on a first come first serve basis for this one.
