Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy backend solutions independently or in collaboration with a small development team.Rapidly prototype solutions and create Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for client demonstration in an agile manner.Write efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code to fulfill project requirements.Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to grasp project goals and translate them into technical requirements.Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain application stability and performance.Job RequirementsGreat English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)5+ years of experience in Software DevelopmentImpeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucialProficiency in Front-End technologies such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.Knowledge of Python (Django), SQL (Postgres), AWS services (S3, Fargate, ElastiCache, RDS), Terraform, Athena, Step Functions, and Elasticsearch.Understanding of AWS, CloudFront, and load balancers.Experience building enterprise software with complex business rules and data models.Proficiency in designing and developing microservices or other distributed systems.Experience with scaling to handle large data sets.Effective communication and influence skills at a senior engineer level.Proficiency in Agile software development methodology.Ability to effectively communicate and influence team members and business partners at a senior engineer level.Proficiency in Agile software development methodology, processes, and practices.

Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
