Early Data Conversion Developer

We are seeking 15 skilled Early Data Conversion (EDC) Developer across all levels to join us on a 6- month engagement in Hong Kong on work within an International Banking Group. If you have a passion for technology and a desire to excel in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview: As an EDC Developer, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and implementing software solutions that meet our project requirements. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the timely and qualitative delivery of our EDC projects.

Key Responsibilities:Design, create, and implement EDC solutions.Ensure adherence to standards, policies, and controls.Deliver projects according to the EDC Project plan.Implement standardized coding, processes, and reporting.Provide progress updates and escalate issues as needed.Support project leaders/managers with subject matter expertise.Actively participate in team and project meetings.Engage with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Qualifications:Between 2 and 10 years of experience in software development and coding skills using Python and Linux scriptKnowledge of VSAM, JSON, PostgreSQL, and Main Frame Cobol.Experience with implementing new products/applications.Understanding of business logics/functions/operations.Resilient personality with strong communication skills.Experience working on Python V3.10 a must have .Business English proficiency; Cantonese, Thai, Korean, Mandarin a plus.
