We advocate the “you build it, you run it” DevOps mantra.Build secure and resilient integrations across multiple hybrid systems (including cloud APIs to on-prem systems).Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders on delivering high-quality solutions that make a difference to our customers.Continuously learn, hone your craft, and drive your professional growth.Write readable and highly maintainable code.Read and analyse existing code and solutions.Pragmatic in identifying opportunities to improve our code via refactor or redesign, encouraging the boy-scout rule: “Leave your code better than you found it”.Code review and pair programming.Develop tools or automations that accelerate the development process whilst improving the developer experience.What you’ll be working onOur industry leading cloud practice management system: https://www.dentrixascend.com/Integrations with the diverse ecosystem of Henry Schein One products as well as 3rd party systems.Revolutionizing the onboarding and support experiences, ultimately empowering our teams to help customers manage their practices the simplest way possible.Your technical skillsSenior-level proficiency in .NET 6 or higher, C#, and SQL. Experience in Java, Javascript, and Blazor are nice to have but not required.Expert-level cloud development skills in AWS and/or Azure. Proficient in building well-architected cloud-based solutions that are secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient.Solid knowledge of API development (Minimal APIs, REST, gRPC, Authentication and Authorization), containerisation, service orchestration, event-driven architectures, database management systems (SQL Server or Postgres), CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, integration testing, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Bicep), and observability.Your personal attributesExcellent communication skills. You can explain complex technical concepts clearly. You ask engaging questions that help hash out the “why” behind technical decisions.Enthusiasm for understanding and solving complex problems.Strong sense of urgency. Comfortable in putting pressure on yourself and your team for timely results.Great team player and thrives in collaboration.
