Primary skills - Apache Pulsar. Secondary skills - Kafka, Java, micro services, cloud (Azure), Confluent • Good understanding of Messaging concepts • Good understanding of Pulsar architecture • Understanding of pulsar broker load balancing • Understanding of Pulsar functions • Understanding and ability to set up a tenant, create namespace & topics. • Understanding of pulsar REST APIs • Understanding Event streaming concept, event streaming vs batch streaming • Should have knowledge on Micro batch APIs • Ensuring high availability, usage of Pulsar Perf and tuning Pulsar for performance • Ability to analyze complex issues • Should have excellent communication skills • Understanding of Linux • Understanding of cloud technology • Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information science is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has good understanding of pulsar
