Data Engineer / BI Developer (Contract)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer / BI Developer to join our team on a contract basis, working directly with one of our esteemed clients.

Key Responsibilities

SQL Proficiency: Demonstrate extensive proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and analysis.Database Knowledge: Possess deep knowledge of Oracle databases and other relational database management systems.Data Manipulation: Conduct advanced data manipulation tasks, including reading, writing, viewing, testing, and performance tuning.Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources and data marts for downstream systems, including Power BI, Tableau, OBIEE, and client data exports.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Utilize tools such as Jenkins for CI/CD to streamline development and deployment processes.Version Control: Manage code and documentation using Git or Bitbucket to ensure version control and collaborative development.Scripting Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in Shell and Python scripting for data processing and automation tasks.Unix/Linux Familiarity: Work comfortably within Unix/Linux environments to manage, analyze, and manipulate data.
