Kotlin Senior Developer | Team Lead

We are seeking a talented and experienced Kotlin Senior Developer / Team Lead to join our clients dynamic and agile development team. As the Senior Developer and Team Lead, you will be responsible for taking care of all batch jobs for fetching data and ingesting it into a data warehouse, handling big data volumes from devices on client end, with databases currently holding more than 9TB of data.

Job description

• Coding in an agile environment to build up Client's product portfolio, turning it into microservices architecture using Kotlin and Spring based on cloud-native technologies• Developing single page web applications using Typescript and Angular as the framework, leading the team in delivering high-quality solutions• Collaborating with a team of developers, product managers, and architects to ensure seamless integration of microservices and frontend components• Providing technical leadership and guidance to less-experienced coworkers, including mentoring, onboarding, coaching, and support in technical issues

Requirements

• Successful completion of studies in Computer Science, Software Development, Informatics, or a comparable field• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Kotlin development• Solid knowledge of Typescript and Java/Kotlin. Experience with Python and Go is a plus• Proven experience in developing modern responsive single page web applications using Angular, as well as building backend APIs with Spring or similar frameworks• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, Web Technologies (JSON, REST, HTTP, OIDC, gRPC), and cloud-native technologies• Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills and a self-confident appearance• Fluent in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of German and other European languages is a plus
