Role - Front End DeveloperLocation - Peacehaven (candidate should be based nearby the location)Working Pattern - First few weeks in office (Training period) and then fully remote Permanent Position

About the role –

You will be focused on developing slick, highly polished, responsive websites for a wide range of clients, which are both beautiful, and easy to use.

In particular, your main responsibility will be taking static designs and turning them into responsive and standards compliant HTML/CSS templates for integration with a dynamic CMS.

Essential:

Extensive Experience inLaravel’s Blade templating engine and PHP.

Good to have :-Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS – using the most modern features, and also how to cope gracefully with legacy browsers.Excellent understanding of responsive web design – the sites you build must be easy to use and look beautiful and crisp on any device.Excellent understanding of how to use HTML templates in conjunction with CSS preprocessors (Less/Sass) to build modular and scalable front ends.Excellent understanding of client side scripting (especially Vue).Decent grasp of version control with Git.Experience with Twig templating engine.An appreciation of accessibility and SEO considerations.

Desired:

Experience with WordPress CMS.Experience automating build tasks with Gulp.Basic knowledge of PHP and the LAMP stack.Experience working with WordPress plugins: WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, Timber.Experience with Laravel’s Blade templating engine.
